Tuesday, December 1st, 2015 - 7:30 Get ready for some great hand clapping and foot stomping music at the Cowboy Capital Opry at the Silver Sage Community Center. Hear some of the best musicians around as they donate their time to raise money for the Bandera Meals on Wheels. Admissions are $5.00 at the door or call the Silver Sage for reserved seating for $10.00. Refreshments and Door Prizes.
Friday, December 4th, 2015 - 4:45 pm Courthouse Lawn: Enjoy beautiful lights and the sweet sound of children’s voices as choirs bring us their version of what makes Christmas special. A Living Nativity is provided by the students of Pipe Creek Christian School. 6:16 (at Dusk) Stick around for a visit from Santa. The Bandera Chamber of Commerce will host a wonderful night parade! Guest of the evening will be Santa, cowboy style. Bandera merchants will be open until 9:00 p.m. for holiday shopping while the streets are filled with strolling Christmas Carolers, musicians and Cowboys.
Saturday December 5th, 2015 - 5:00 pm – Celebrate the Holidays at the Cowboy Capital Campfire in Bandera’s City Park on the beautiful Medina River. Gather around the campfire and enjoy amazing Cowboy Story Tellers and the soothing vocal styling of local Cowboy Singers. At dark the Bandera County Christian Fellowship will display the precious story of Christmas that brings cause for all of this musical celebration. This Living Nativity is beautifully spotlighted against the banks of the Medina River. Bring your lawn chair, enjoy hot chocolate and cookies and afterwards stroll through the Bandera Business Associations massive display of over a hundred lighted Christmas trees and lighted holiday scenes. The Bandera Trail of Lights will be open each evening at dark and hosted by local nonprofits. Bring the family and drive through City Park and enjoy the true spirit of Christmas.
Sunday, December 20th, 2015 - The Longhorn Saloon will feature the annual Christmas Singing in the Saddle event. Hayride provided for those that do not want to ride. Bring your guitar and sing along and you can bring your horse or rent one from the Longhorn Saloon for Christmas caroling down Main Street. Ride includes both Nursing Homes located at each end of the City for the pleasure of the residents. A chuck wagon with hot chocolate and cookies will be awaiting the participants at the end of the ride. Reserve you space early!
December 26th, 2015 - Visit Bandera for the last performance of the year by the Bandera Business Association’s Cowboys on Main performances. Featuring the Bandera Cattle Company, singers’, chuck wagons, horses, trick ropers, wagon rides and longhorns will perform between noon and 4:00 pm.
