This year, plan your holiday season in Historic Boerne. The tastefully restored Hauptstrasse (Main Street)
offers a feast of antiques, gift shops, art galleries, restaurants, and coffee shops in turn of the century architecture all set in a sea of shimmering white lights. Many locals think Christmas is the best time of the year, so come and stroll through the quaint historic district and enjoy some of the events that make Boerne a wonderful destination for celebrating the season.

Friday & Saturday November 28 & 29. Dickens On Main. What’s Christmas without snow, colorful lights, theatrical plays and a visit from Santa? Whether a longstanding family tradition or your first Dickens On Main, Boerne invites you to bundle up and head to Main Street for a weekend full of Christmas festivities. Visit our petting zoo, take a train ride, have your little one’s picture taken with Santa, or sit in on Bah Humbug—our one-man Christmas Carol. With live ice sculptures, Santa’s Workshop and more, it’s truly a family holiday celebration! 830.249.7277

Saturday December 6 Weihnachts Parade. Boerne’s annual night-time Christmas Parade that winds through the Historic downtown district. Also many shops are open late. Santa and Mrs. Claus make a special appearance at the conclusion of the parade to hear the children’s wishes. 830.249.7277

Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 6 & 7 - Oma’s Christmas Fair - Three buildings full of 100% handmade/homemade merchandise from local and out of state vendors. Bake sale, visits with Santa, children’s activities, carolers, door prizes, photos with Santa. Saturday 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Sunday 10:00 AM - 4:00 PM.

Saturday & Sunday, Dec. 13 & 14 and 20 & 21 - Boerne Market Days. Shop for that special gift at this monthly event in Boerne’s Main Plaza. Arts, crafts, antiques, collectibles, and unusual items are some of the great finds. Food booths and music are also part of the fun. (210)844-8193

Saturday, Dec. 20 & 21 - Cowboy Christmas at Enchanted Springs Ranch. An active western town and movie set has shows, hayrides, caroling, a petting zoo, and a Cowboy Santa. Fun for the whole family from 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM at Enchanted Springs Ranch, 242 Highway 46 West. (830)249-8222 or
