Driving Directions, courtesy of the Brownwood Garden Club!

This area of Brown County supports a good display of spring wildflowers.

1. Take US 377 south, past Kohler plant. Turn left onto FM 45 for about .3 mile.

2. Turn right onto County Road 225 (Country Club Road). Continue several miles along this curvy road where you should encounter a variety of yellow, purple, pink, and white wildflowers.

3. Eventually you will intersect County Road 233. Jordan Springs Cemetery is located at this intersection. Get out of your car and walk around. View and smell the wildflowers.

4. From this intersection, turn right (west) onto County Road 233. Study the array of wildflowers along this road to US 377. Return to Brownwood via US 377.
